They want a high-end motherboard with AGP slot and a PCI graphics card? This technology is old
ReplyDeleteAll new motherboards have PCI Express x16 for graphics and 16-24 GB of RAM support
Gigabyte GA-X58 DU5
ReplyDeleteIt is everything you want, I have one and have no complaints.

I do not know about the game, is based on the game and maybe the graphics card to do as much or more to the processor and the mainboard. For a multi-media, high-performance workstation, there is nothing better Tyan motherboards. They are the best deal when it multi-core/multi-cpu to upscale plates for server and workstation class. It is expensive and can not all the features you want, but an idea of what will the Thunder n4250QE (16x12 large paintings) is a quad-quad-core board. These are 16 processor cores is. I built a number of these systems in recent years, there is nothing better performance and reliability.
ReplyDeleteI use a dual Opteron dual-core video editing machine now (4 cores). I'll build another new generation, with Opteron. I have the equipment to an old dual Athlon MP still works very well.
The hardest thing is to choose an appropriate board for a job like most of these tips are (integrated audio-video connector extension slightly) towards the use as a server.
The other problem is that most of these tricksare not E-ATX (Extended ATX) will fit 12 x 13 cm or less and in most cases. I like the Zalman GS1000, there are no windows on the stupid, stupid, not shut the door on the front of DVD players, from the bottom mounted power supply, with style. There are few, if Lian Li can use, expensive but good. Most of the other options as well as Antec or not, at E-ATX was designed around the windows, lamps, paintings of luxury and so forth match.
Configurations from a single processor, the choice much more. Gigabyte, Foxconn, and others offer good advice. You can check n3600B Thunder.

It supports dual dual-core or quad-core Opteron, 64G RAM, plenty of USB and SATA on a 10x12 board. "It has integrated video and audio.
I am with you and would rather not integrated video. In most joints can be disabled or it does so automatically if you have a graphics card.
I recommend the Hitachi drives. Disks have changed over the years, buying companies one yearsthere, and so on, for video editing Hitachi unsurpassed reliability.
To see a video that I use a nVidia Quadro card. They have many versions. I went with dual-DVI. Some have dual-DVI or VGA and S-video. There is nothing like the assembly with two monitors. I'm spoiled. I use a computer without dual monitors. In the game you want faster memory, but the video work for a mid-card level is good and saves money. Use PCI-X.
Maya 44 is a good choice for audio. High-end audio card details.
